When packing Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) forms for submission by mailing through post, it's essential to ensure that they are organized, protected, and securely packed. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you:
Oraganize the Forms: Arrange all the required GKS forms neatly in the order specified by the scholarship application guidelines. This includes the application forms 1-9, recommendation letters, marksheets, personal statement, passport copy, certificates etc.
Review Requirements: Double-check the scholarship application guidelines to ensure that you have included all the necessary documents and forms. Make a checklist if needed to avoid missing anything.
Use a Secure Folder or Envelope: Choose a sturdy folder or envelope large enough to hold all the forms without folding or bending them. A transparent plastic folder or a large envelope would work well. Make sure it's clean and free from any markings or damage.
Protect Sensitive Documents: If any of the documents are sensitive or easily damaged, such as transcripts or recommendation letters, consider placing them in plastic sleeves or using protective covers to prevent creasing, tearing, or water damage.
Label and Organize: Label each section of the folder or envelope according to the contents. For example, you might have separate sections for the application form, transcripts, recommendation letters, etc. This will make it easier for the scholarship committee to review your materials.
Include Copies: The scholarship application guidelines require 3 copies of the application material. Make sure to pack them in 3 separate envelopes.
Seal the Folder or Envelope Securely: Once all the forms and documents are inside, seal the folder or envelopes securely. You can use adhesive tape, paper clips, or fasteners to ensure that nothing falls out during transit. Pack the 4 envelopes in one big envelope. If you have one copy of the recommendation letter put it separately in the bigger envelope. If you have 4 copies, put 1 in each smaller envelope. Do not use stapler.
Review Before Mailing: Before mailing or submitting the package, carefully review the contents to ensure that everything is included and properly organized. Make sure there are no missing documents or errors.
Submit or Mail the Package: If you're submitting the application in person, deliver it to the designated location according (Embassy of Republic of Korea in New Delhi) to the application instructions. If you're mailing them, take the package to the courier service/post office and choose a secure and trackable mailing option to ensure safe delivery.
By following these steps, you can effectively pack your Global Korea Scholarship forms for submission or mailing. Remember to follow any specific instructions provided by the scholarship program to avoid delays or disqualification.
